The Landscape group welcomes all Beacon Camera Club members who share a love of landscape photography. The main activities of the group are field trips to venues that provide rich opportunities for this particular photographic genre, with previous outings including visits to Nash Point on the Glamorgan Coast, The Long Mynd in Shropshire, Burnham on Sea and Clevedon in Somerset, and the waterfall triangle (four waterfalls walk) in Wales.
We are, however, very fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the country and also include shoots much nearer to home, e.g. the Malvern Hills and Croome Park. The group includes a number of experienced landscape photographers who are always willing to give advice on the use of filters and best choice of camera settings for those who feel they would benefit from tuition or assistance. In addition to field trips, the group holds meetings at The Great Malvern Hotel approximately four times a year to provide opportunities for members to show and discuss their work.
