October Trips and Question

Postby SimonP » Thu Sep 24, 2020 12:13 pm

Hi Everyone,

After a busy September for me so I am looking forward to getting out with some you on Friday this week (sorry short notice). I'm hoping we can get out once or twice a month going forwards so am proposing Thursday 8th Oct and Saturday 24th OR Sunday 25th - please let me know if you prefer Sat or Sun. - see poll (or if it doesn't't work - new to me, by comment).

I'm suggesting the Knapp and Papermill for the 8th at 9 am (https://www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk/nature-reserves/knapp-and-papermill), venue TBC for the later one, OK?

8th October - depends on the time, as I have a dental appointment (already changed once!) at 12:20 - but don't make any special arrangements for me.

Ah ha!! I finally found where this was hidden; I'm not sure how I found it and if I'd ever find it again...
Anyway, just to confirm that we are away for the 8th and quite possibly/probably/hopefully/who knows ( delete as appropriate) for the 24th/25th too.
Fortnightly after that all all look clear for any day!!! We will fit in where and whenever we can if numbers allow!

Hi Simon,
I'll be going to be away for a few days, so will miss your fungus foray, the proposed K&P visit and the next zoom meeting. I'm still interested in joining a trip to Gigrin farm. I'm free most days later in October (apart from 27th to 30th) and November. Hope to catch up soon!

That would be good Mark, but I will have a check over before then as they have been reducing visitor numbers recently (for a couple of reasons) and to see if there are any fungi showing. Will update soon.

Hi Simon,
I am unable to join you on the 8th as i have a long standing engagement on Thursday mornings. I am free for both 24th and the 25th, and look forward to knowing the destination!
