Midphot AV Competition 2026 results

Beacon did really well at the Midphot AV Competition this year, our best ever year:

Sue Warner won the Open Competition with her sequence ‘Against all Odds’ and also won the award for ‘AV Excellence’ for her script and delivery. I believe she may the first woman to win this award in its 48 year history, to be confirmed..

Peter Warner and Jon Lloyd were both commended for their Open Competition entries, Peter’s ‘I AM A MAN’ and Jon’ ‘The Tail of a Tall Ship’.

Peter Warner won the Photo Harmony Competition with his sequence ‘Mysterium’

Peter narrowly missed out of winning the ‘Audience Vote’ where his sequence ‘I AM A MAN’ was voted 2nd place.
