Meeting evening of 8th November

Postby peterr » Mon Oct 16, 2017 1:10 pm

Fellow Landscape photographers.

We have The Vale booked for Wednesday 8th November 7:30 p.m. for a "discuss and show your work" session. The idea is that we each bring up to 10 landscape images (DPI or print) that we are prepared to discuss with fellow members. It would be good if this could include some of the output from the recent Landscape Group field trips, but please do feel free to any of your recent work. We will also use the evening to discuss and plan future Landscape SIG meetings and outings.

If you are interested then I would be very grateful if you would indicate on this thread before Tuesday 24th October.

[Note: We have to give at least two weeks notice if we need to cancel to ensure that the club does not incur a charge.]

Unfortunately, I don't think a meeting with just four of us is viable for going ahead at The Vale. A bit disappointing as quite a few people had expressed an interest in this type of meeting. I will look at the possibility of booking a room at The Great Malvern a little bit later in the year. If there is a small number of us then perhaps we can just look at the images on laptops / tablets.

I've put a few images on the club's facebook site. Could we use this page or facebook to share?

OK, though it excludes those who do not use Facebook. The club forum is more open.

I don't mind where... but the file size for attachments is limited to 256K on the club's forum. There are 140 members on the bEacon, 250 on the facebook page.

HI, I would have liked to attend but I saw the meeting too late and now I understand the meting is cancelled. Is anything foreseen in the future?
