Transferring VHS to Digital

Postby billf » Mon Oct 28, 2019 7:18 pm

I have just come across some VHS tapes that I would like to convert to a digital shareable format.

I can run and view the content using an old TV with a SCART connection.

What are the best ways to to make copies, the machine only has SCART port.

Any ideas?!

Regards

I think the path of least resistance is to use a commercial service - like Express TV in the Link.

Just purchase a USB capture card, as long as the VCR has good heads and you get a good quality picture just do it yourself, ok it will take a long time as you have to play each tape at normal speed as there's no fast dubbing method not with videotape.
