Posted: Thu Jul 10, 2014 7:44 amThis is the area of the forum where - if you show an image - you are expecting to get a frank opinion of it from any member, who will try to point out defects you might not have seen, or suggest improvements. The latter might be done by means of copying your image off the screen, editing it and then posting it back.
Posters and critiquers please take note: please be aware that regardless of how factual and blunt the suggestions might be, they are made entirely with the intent of improving the work and offence should never be delivered or taken. Put plainly, we are all friends here, interested in improving our photography and there is no point in fawning over a mediocre image just to be 'nice' to the poster! Improvement will not come by that route. Nuff said.
