Fjorden for iPhone

A friend of mine asked if I had any knowledge of 'Fjorden' which I understand is an attempt to make an iPhone more like a DSLR.
Has anyone tried it or know anything about it?

I'd never heard of it, but a quick web search gives the Fjorden UK page. It appears to be a physical add-on to an iPhone, with an app. Of course, I've no idea whether it's of any real benefit, or just slick marketing ...

The fact that noone seems to have tried it may suggest it's either not much use or folk in a camera club have DSLRs and it has no place in their armamentarium!
