A photo-opportunity ....
Posted: Fri Oct 22, 2021 9:49 amI manage the sound and lighting for the Powick Community Choir which mounts a large concert at Christmas time in the chapel at Stanbrook abbey. They have asked if we have anyone in the club who might be able/willing to take some photographs for them during a performance this year on any of the nights of 12th to 15th (Incl) of December. The photos would - of course - remain yours but in return for the choir being allowed to use a selection of them on their website and leaflets, their management is prepared to make a donation to our club - they have done this before and it wasn't a small amount.
You would need to operate silently and without flash. There will be a 20-piece orchestra in attendance, so the chance of some different photography is there! The concert is well-lit, so with some carefully chosen camera settings, getting good snaps will be simple.
