SD CARDS

Just wondering what type of SD cards people use and do you prefer one against another brand, main reason for asking was I picked up on social media a guy having issues with Lexar, very similar to mine having had 2 lock up on me, managed to recover the jpegs, no RAW and the cards are stuffed no read/write

Hi Brian,

Sandisk have a very good reputation and I have never had a problem with them in any format. However, you are not alone and
SD cards are less reliable than CF and CF Express.

Another vote for Sandisk. I've been using them for 15 years and have dozens of them and have only ever had one fail on me. I did try cheaper Integral Ultima memory cards a few years ago, but these proved a lot less reliable (out of six purchased, two failed within a matter of weeks).
