Photo printers

I am a new member to the club and would like some advice please as to the best photo printers A4 size preferably that uses bulk inks but am open to ink cartridges as well

Take a look at the Epson EcoTank printers. Good print output and bulk ink bottles. However, they are limited in that they use only 4 or 6 colours of ink, which limits the colour quality of prints somewhat. Ideally, for photographic work, you should be looking at printer that use 8 or 10 colours but I can't bring one to mind which offer bulk ink tanks. Canon make some cracking printers in that category but their smaller printers use small ink tanks = higher cost. Whatever you choose to do, I would certainly suggest that you go for an A3 version - not much more money and would be much more versatile.
